I found the first geocache
at Concentrix.
The company granted
permission to the person
who placed it.
The next clues are the story of Malachi the Cat. He was a hungry cat in the mood for some chicken. We followed the GPS coordinates past a chicken farm on Reixinger Road...
John found this cache just off
of Reixinger Road,within
Malachi romped around and chased a bird....
... to this unique find...
... a bird house in a
dead tree.
John recorded his &
Carol's handle before
returning the cache
list to its home.
Ever hungry, Malachai decided to "go fishing."
Carol found this geocache
at the end of a fishing lure.
Carol found the mouse,
covering the geocache
list.
Alas, Malachai died, and the animals in the forest brought him to his final resting place....
.... in Dell Cemetery.
This cemetery is
adjacent to a
farm.
Eric found Malachi's
coffin.
It's a fine coffin, with
lovely details...
Including a psalm
printed in the coffin.
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him I will trust. Psalm 91: 1-2.
We all had a great time following clues and poking around in high grass and in wooded areas. This type of geocaching can have unexpected side effects... We found a few large ticks on our clothing. Do they grow ticks bigger in Canada?
