Airport for the Adirondack
Balloon Festival.

Warren County Flying Club

brought planes to the event.

1942 Fairchild PT-23 was
used to train Army Air
Corps pilots.

1943 Boeing Stearman PT 17
was used as a trainer for Navy
& Army Air Corps pilots.

Experimental Air Association
Chapter 353 from Glens Falls
displays a small, experimental
aircraft.

Balloons were scheduled to launch at 5:00 pm, weather permitting.







At 5:30 pm, a balloon inflates.

It looks like it will launch,

but then it deflates.

A second balloon inflates.

Then it starts to

deflate.

It's too windy to launch balloons.  Dave, Kathy, Eric and I head back to Yogi Bear's Camp-Resort. There are more beers to sample.

I had a hard time making a choice for lunch.  The menu here is very interesting.

My lunch was the French Dip:

Thin Sliced Prime Rib & Sauteed

Onions topped with Swiss &

Provolone Cheeses with Au Jus

with French Fries.

We all agreed that our lunches were delicious.  Thanks Kathy and Dave for recommending lunch here.

Walking Around Warrensburg, New York

People often don't visit places near where they live.  Interesting places to explore are always hundreds of miles away.  This is my first visit to Warrensburg and I'm enjoying my walk around town.

I like the details under

Shopping at Oscar's Adirondack Smoke House in Warrensburg, New York

Dave & Kathy brought us to
Oscar's Adirondack Smoke 
House in Warrensburg.







They discovered this store years ago and shop here whenever they're in the area.

Oscar's has room for

RVers to park.

We step into Oscar's
Adirondack Smoke House...

... and are greeted by their

pig holding sausage

links & a slab of bacon.

Eric is putting on his
glasses to peruse
the meat cases.

Pork is for sale in all

shapes & sizes.

The sausage case has 

loose sausage & a wide

variety of link sausages.

Fresh sliced deli meats

& cheeses.

Condiments add to the

dining experience.

Don't forget the crunchy

sides & breads.

Eric bought loose sausage
for our breakfast.
