Returning to Hurrricane, Utah By Way of Arizona

 Eric and I left Zion National Park to "take the long way home."

Entering 

Colorado City

Eric tells me about a controversial Mormon Leader with ties to this City and Texas.  I've got bars on my phone so I plug search terms into Google.  The results are - Warren Jeff, a leader of a group of Fundamentalist Mormons owned Colorado City and Hildale City in Utah.  

Jeffs is currently in prison for sexually abusing minor children.

Colorado City is

barely in Arizona.

This is a very remote area.

KOA Journey Resort and our campsite are just up the road.  This was a ride filled with discoveries - Bison and two State Parks; beautiful scenery; and Fundamentalist Mormon history.
