Driving Northwest to Oacoma, South Dakota




Eric & I leave Pender...








... & drive Nebraska Highway 16.

We continue on NE 15 North.

for US Route 81.

is using the road shoulder
as it travels south.

... & entering Yankton.





The community prepares
for a parade.











I take the wheel for a while.




It's a slow drive behind this
piece of Farm Equipment.

(About 10 minutes at 30 to 35
miles per hour)




The projection on the left makes it hard for me to get a line of sight past the lumbering vehicle.  Finally, there's an opening on a long downhill stretch and I pass, at last.

Tractor Museum.







Our last stop is the Rest Stop
 between Exits 263 & 265.
 
The car is an early 1950s Coupe.

Eric fuels up the motorhome

Sinclair Gas Station.
