A Late Lunch @ Pat O'Brien's Bar & Restaurant in San Antonio

While visiting Lavaca, King William Historic Districts, the HemisFair Park and the Tower of the Americas, Eric and I worked up an appetite.

Restaurant.

A Groupon is burning a
hole in Eric's pocket.

This is our second Pat O'Brien's visit...  We first "tripped through" the doors on Bourbon Street in New Orleans in February 2013.

The Courtyard beckons on
this warm afternoon.

Pat O'Brien's famous
Hurricane Glass is dressed
for Christmas.

A reminder that Mardi Gras
is on the way....

We reminisce about
Mardi Gras in
New Orleans....

A Pigeon wades through
a nearby puddle.

Lunch starts with a
cup of Gumbo.

Other tastes:  Cancun Shrimp,

A Sparrow perches on a
chair leg crosspiece.

Eric's entree is Red Beans & Rice

I chose Jambalaya for my
main course.
Lunch was great!  Eric and I enjoyed the many flavorful foods at our table.  Eric and I shared our entrees, the more taste sensations the better!

A stroll around River Walk will help us burn off some of this lunch.
