Tinkertown Museum represents Ross Ward's artistic life and collecting interests.
50,000 bottles are embedded
in the rambling walls that
enclose the 22 room museum.
Eric & I enter the eclectic
world of Ross Ward.
His love of rural life and the old west are on display here.
Many of the hand carved
displays are automated.
This one is musical too.
Eric got his fortune
told for 25 cents.

I watch the needle spin.
He's a manly man.
at 8 feet 4 inches tall, was the
tallest man in the world in the
late1800s & early 1900s.
He toured with Ringling
Brothers Circus for
several years.
Ross Ward collected
dolls & other toys.
Eric inserted a quarter into
Otto the One Man Band & we
listened to the band play.

Ross Ward enjoyed painting.
His studio has been preserved.

sailed around the world in
the 1980s.

Ross Ward was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease in 1998, at the age of 57. When his driving days coming to an end, his second wife, Carla, recommended he turn his car into an art project.
The results are
beautiful.
