Our Drive to the Nicaragua/Costa Rica Border

La Virgen is a really great setting for us.  We are just up the road from many different places...  Rivas, San Jorge, San Juan del Sur and the border with Costa Rica.  Here's a few photos from our drive.

This is cattle country.

The sign for the electrical
station powered by the
windmill farm.

This is a great sign!
The blade is longer than
my previous house was.

I don't know what this is,
but it makes for an
interesting pic.

These are the first trucks I've
seen on the side of the road in
Nicaragua.  Preparing to
cross the border?

The Nicaragua/Costa Rica
Border...... One lane for
trucks & one land for cars.

Some earnest young men waving their ID badges at us offered us a spot at the side of the road.  Their job may be to check passports and other documents.  We never found out, as we made a U Turn and headed back to La Virgen.
