Stefan is our Tour Guide for a very busy day on Hawaii Island. The Volcanoes and Taste of Hawaii Tour focuses on Hawaii Volcanoes National Park with side trips to Big Island Candies, Volcano Winery, and Mona Loa Macadamia Nuts Visitor Center.

on the section of the Bay that
was repeatedly destroyed by
I am reminded of Marathon Campground in Seward, Alaska. The 1964 Tsunami destroyed the section of the Bay where Eric and I camped during our stay.
Stefan tells us about the older buildings in Hilo. I recognize early 20th Century building styles on Kahmehamea Drive.
