Eric & I board a bus for

Kauai, Hawaii's oldest
island.

Huge Eucalyptus Trees
on Mauhia Road.

Kauai's South Shore

Our first stop is Spouting Horn Park.

Poi'pui's surf pushes into a
Lava Tube, sending water
upward through this
vertical hole.

Kauai's South Shore is in

The Hang Loose hand gesture
at a roundabout.

The road to Waimea Canyon
twists & turns...

We arrive at Waimea Canyon

Standing at the Overlook
to look at The Canyon.

It's known as "Hawaii's Grand Canyon."

Waimea Canyon was formed
by erosion & the collapse of
the island's Volcano.

It is 10 miles long & 1,097 feet deep.

Wailua River flows along
the lush Canyon floor.

I watch the scenery during the
drive back to..
