Hawaii's State Capitol in Honolulu: Our Last Capitol Visit

Hawaii is the 50th State Eric and I have visited since we retired in September 2012.

Hawaii's State Capitol is rich in symbolism.  The building has no main entrance.  Hawaii prides itself on its open, welcoming culture.





The doorway to the Senate
is accessible to anyone 
walking on the concourse
of the Capitol.






The day we visited the Capitol, the Senate, and the House of Representatives
 were closed to the public.

These Chambers remind Hawaiians and visitors that the State was formed by Volcanoes and continues to be changed by Volcanoes.

We have finished our longest quest, so far, in retirement: Visiting all 50 State Capitols.  

I have to spend time rereading blog posts I've done on each State Capitol and try to decide which ones I liked best and why.
