Visiting Downtown Weatherford, Texas

Weatherford is the County Seat of Parker County and hosts the County's Courthouse.

Constructed in the 1880s, this
 Second Empire styled building
sits in the center of a roundabout
with access to nearby parking
 spaces.

It's a beautiful focal point for the town.  Eric and I walk the four streets that lead to the stately building.

I love the Hedgehog in the
window with its camera.

I love buildings with corner doors.

This one has a balcony too.

The cornice on this
building is beautiful!

I'm happy to see so many late 19th century and early 20th century buildings downtown.  The architectural styles compliment the County Courthouse.

City Hall was built in 1933.
