Midnight @ The Oasis Car Show in Yuma, Arizona: Rat Rods

I relied on a Motor Trend article to describe Rat Rods. These Cars can be "built at home" or purchased after modifications are complete.  The results are Cars that look like they are deteriorating or a restoration project is in progress.  Many have worn down exteriors.  Some have rusty surfaces.

This is the first day of Midnight At The Oasis three day Car Show.  Here are the Rat Rods that arrived early:

A visitor closely inspects
the exterior.

The strategically broken
triangle window is

a windshield visor.

It is partially shaded, a rare spot at

I was fascinated by this
Headlight Lens.

Venetian Blinds were made to
shade the rear windows in
some vintage cars.

This Chopped 1927 Ford Model T
is painted with a primer.

The owner chose a Radiator from another car for his project.

A woven rug or blanket has
been glued to its roof.

Some people want their vintage and antique Cars stock or in original condition.  Others see their Cars as creative projects.
