Riverside State Park Recreation Area in 9 Mile Falls, Washington

Eric found something special to
share with me at Riverside

Eric and I follow a narrow path toward an overlook and see...  What the Spokane River's rushing waters sculpted.

The rock formation below
looks like a tree stump.

From the overlook, we see the
tree stump boulder &
Bowl & Pitcher rock formations.

We get a selfie with Bowl
& Pitcher.

Eric gets a shot of us with
the bridge & rapids in the
background from the
same overlook.

This Recreation Area has
HUGE boulders.

Downriver looks like the perfect
water for canoeing & kayaking.

There's a building on the bluff
above the river in the far distance.

The Spokane Area has lots of places to explore.   Eric and I just "scratched the surface" today.
