Diving North & A Little West to Browning, Montana




Today we are driving on










Another beautiful day
for a drive





Eric & I enter Lewis & Clark











There are several large
pull-offs on this road.





Elevation: 7,010 feet



















Ski Resort






Eric drives down a 6% Grade.

The steepest Grade we've been
on is 13%, on Highway 99 south










It looks like portions of this
mountainside have been
carved out.


















Eric & I park at the Heritage
Picnic Area at Great Springs
State Park.







We walk to the surprise stop...





The headwaters of the Roe River,
the Shortest River in the World
201 feet long.






I take a turn driving...









The expanse of the Northern Plains
roll out before us.

Browning is 30 miles away
