Driving Southwest to Spring Grove, Minnesota

 

Eric & I return to Interstate 41

South/US Route 41 South  at

the start of today's drive.

Exit 124 is blocked off with an

Oversized Vehicle.

This farm has a concrete silo.

We've never seen one before

of this type before.

Small sections of concrete are being

removed & replaced in this

Road Construction Site.

Wautoma is one of the small

cities we drive through.

We will watch for slow 

moving Amish Buggies.

We turn onto 

Interstate 90 West.

Eric & I stop at Fast Fiberglass

in Sparta to see their Fiberglass

Mold Graveyard.

We take Exit 276 to the

Rest Area so we switch

drivers.

Somehow Eric and I miss the Welcome to Minnesota sign.

La Crescent is the Apple

Capital of Minnesota.

Our next turn is west onto

Minnesota State Highway 44.

I admire the floral baskets

in Hokah.

Sculpted farm fields

Welcome to Spring Grove

Our route takes us into a valley...

... to Hidden Bluffs Resort.

Eric registers as I walk

around & take pictures.

Our campsite has 50 amp electric service with good voltage; water and sewer connections.

Hidden Bluffs Resorts has free Wifi for its guests.  We are going to spend a few days doing chores around the motorhome.
