Thousand Trails Las Vegas RV Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada

Eric & I are staying at Thousand

The Office & Clubhouse

Comfortable seating
with a TV.

Tables are available for
device users.

This is the free WiFi Hot
 Spot in the Resort.

The bookshelves

I checked the brochure rack
for things to do in the area.

Office/Clubhouse

Nearby is a Grill with
picnic tables.

Most of the campsites
are filled.

This is a very popular
location for RVers
visiting Las Vegas.

Cases of COVID-19 are increasing at a rapid rate.  Many hotels and casinos have closed.  RVers are canceling reservations at Thousand Trails Las Vegas RV Resort.  Yesterday 34 campsites were empty.  Today 40 plus are vacant.

This friendly cat has a collar
& visits daily.

A 1990 Fleetwood Flair

Boulder Station Casino
is nearby.

The Gazebo

Eric and I rode bikes here once.  The streets are narrow and there are vehicles parked along them, making them even more of a challenge for bike riders.  Campers coming and going drive more than 5 miles an hour, making it important to always be on the lookout for cars and trucks.

The outer loop of the Resort
has been designated as a
Walking Trail & is half
 a mile long.

Picnic tables a the
spacious Dog Park.

The tag on this 1990 GMC Suncrest
 is dated 02/15.

I wonder if it's been abandoned
by its owner.

I've never seen camouflage
netting placed over an RV
before.

There's also some sort of
cloth covering the top
of this Fifth Wheel.

The owners are using these two covers to keep their RV as cool as possible.  Las Vegas temperatures can rise above 100 degrees Fahrenheit in the summer.  Going to this effort when the daytime highs are in the 70s leads me to believe that this RV is here for the season.

The bulletin board has lots
of room for Campers to
post information.

This older Sprinter caught
my eye.

It's a late 1980s  - early
1990s model.

Sadly, there's very little information about the older Sprinters by Mallard on the internet.

There's another 2000 something

Truck is well
cared for.
