Rollin' on the River Car Show @ Rivers Casino in Schenectady, NY Part I

It's a beautiful sunny day...  Let's go to Rollin' on the River Car Show at Rivers Casino and Resort in downtown Schenectady.

There are over 200 vehicles
here & plenty of admirers.

Some cars I'm sharing are my favorites and others are new to this car fan.

has eye-catching features.

The 2016 Jeep Sport
is accessorized....

Let's see what's under the
hood of this 1941 Willys
Coupe with the intricate
paint job....

... a customized engine with
Death lighting the way for
the driver.

I've never seen a car hood
with so many air vents.

Nostalgia....  A 1973 Plymouth

I had a 1972 Duster many
 years ago.

I like the lines of the
1962 Dodge Dart.

There's luggage in the front
end trunk of this 1965

The interior is beautiful.

The rear engine.

The 1965 Corvair has improved
 rear suspension.

The 1960 - 1963 Corvair's rear suspension deficiency was highlighted in Ralph Nader's book, Unsafe at Any Speed.  The book and its reception by the American public pushed Congress to pass and President Lyndon B. Johnson to sign the National Traffic and Motor Safety Act.  With upgraded safety standards and the power to issue recalls, the US Auto manufacturers continue to produce safer and safer vehicles throughout the following decades.

Don't forget the Black Jack &
other games of chance at
Rivers Casino.

This photo shows the suicide
doors on this 1935 Chevrolet.

Our friend Bill is showing

His lovely bride, M, joins
him for the day.

The windshield covers remind me
of the automated movie, Cars.

Alex, the youngest car owner
showing today is happy to talk
about his 1947 Chevy Bel Air
Convertible's features.

The 1954 Studebaker

 a delight to explore.

1947 Buick Roadmaster Sedan

This 1965 Mustang has not
been restored.

It has been carefully preserved
for 54 years.

Next up.... the trucks.
