The Guggenheim Museum's Best Known Works





Museum was designed




"Let Each Man Exercise the
Art He Knows" encircles
the bronze medallion at the
entrance of the Museum.














I look up a column to a
skylight.














The Occulus is 90 feet
above the rotunda.

The "circles" are ramps
with artwork.

The Museum is providing reduced admission while travelling collections are en route.  I'm pleased to save a buck or $5.00.

On to the Thannhauser Art Collection, bequeathed to the Museum by Justin K. Thannhauser and his wife, Hilde.

Children who grow up in New York City have access to world class museums and world class art.

Eric and I finally visit the Guggenheim.  I've waited about 20 years to visit this building and its artwork.  I am happy to visit some of my favorite artists' works and be introduced to new artists, Fernand Leger, Andre Derain and Juan Gris.
