Searching for Spring in Rotterdam, New York

Winter turned to spring in Upstate New York and "warmer temperatures" arrived.  By late April, the daily temperatures ranged though the 40s and sometimes into the 50s.  The nights were cold... in the low 30s.




The remnant of a
snowbank melts
in the Hannaford
Plaza parking
lot in Rotterdam.




Avenue is being rebuilt.

The trees remain bare.




Fluorescent Crosswalk signs
on Curry Road near Memorial
Park makes crossing this busy
street safer for pedestrians.



This house has been empty
since a fire in 2015.

The fire damage has been
cleared away.





Large bushes have been
cut down.









This large addition is
under construction.






I'm happy to see this house be renovated for a new family.





People take advantage of
a sunny day to do yard
work.










This tree has many
buds.






I'm glad to see a tree getting ready to leaf out.




This 2017 Keystone Cougar
5th Wheel Trailer is for sale.

It's parked at a busy intersection
& gets lots of passersby.









Land has been cleared on










I think more townhouses
will be built here.









A tree has fallen against
this empty house.










This house has been
unoccupied since
last spring.









This house is being rehabbted
& expanded for owners.









There's lots of windows 
to allow in sunlight.






I found Daffodils at the







Now all I want to see is more flowers in every springtime color.





This shrub is budding.

Spring is arriving....







April Showers Bring
May flowers.












 Warmer weather is on the way....  I want to see leafy green trees, leafy and flowering shrubs and flowers, everywhere....
