Strolling HemisFair Park in San Antonio, Texas





The Tower of the Americas
is the focal point of
HemisFair Park.






This 96.2 acre park is the site of the 1968 World's Fair.  "A Confluence of Nations" welcomed 6.4 million visitors from April 6th to October 6th.  Pavilions for 33 participating nations from Europe, Asia, South and Central America were constructed.

Most of the buildings have been removed.   San Antonio has redeveloped for the benefit of its residents.
