The Polish Festival at The Blessed Virgin Mary of Czestochowa Church in Latham, New York





Eric & I attended the Polish
Festival at Blessed Virgin Mary











We stop at the red & white striped
tent to pay $3.00 per person
admission fee.

Pierogis (stuffed pasta shells) with different fillings are here for Festival goers:  Farmers Cheese, Potato and Cheese, Sauerkraut, Kielbasa and Sauerkraut, Pulled Pork, Mushroom and Cabbage, Potato Cheese and Jalapeno and Honey Apple Crisp.  Yum!

Both are Lagers, beers that are made with bottom fermenting yeast.

newspapers & selling subscriptions.

Dyngus Day Tee Shirts







Dyngus (Dingus) Day is a fun filled Polish holiday celebrated the day after Easter.  Parades and parties take place on Dyngus Day.  It's a day for young people to meet...  Traditionally, young single men toss water on young women.  Modern day Dyngus Day revelers use squirt guns to get the attention of young women.  Buffalo is the epicenter of Dyngus Day in New York State.
