Our First Full Day at the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta in New Mexico

Escapees Boomers at the
Albuquerque International
Balloon Fiesta are camping
without hookups.

AAA Pumping, vendor at the Fiesta, will fill water tanks for $25.00 and drain black tanks, for $25.00.

Each Boomer RV gets a
Goody Bag with LOTS on
 information on Albuquerque
& the surrounding area, &
 coupons from local businesses.

Balloons rise into the
sky around 7:30 am.

A close up on one
of the balloons

Eric took this picture of
a balloon flying above
our motorhome.

Our neighbors dots are
Bella, a medium Cockapoo
& Emma, a miniature
Cockapoo.

Eric and I are biking with our friends, Dave and Kathy, to Sportsman's Warehouse.  We will be using the bike trail that runs along the canal in Albuquerque.

At 4:00 pm, we head over to our meeting area with a snack for Friendship Hour.

Friendship Hour is starting.
It's large and well attended...

There are 50  Boomer RVs at the Albuquerque International RV Fiesta.

Judy welcomes us &
introduces...

They answer all our questions.

All the hot air balloons have unique names.  Some are traditional shaped balloons, like Wicked. Some are uniquely shaped...  like Kermie, the Frog.

It's time to go to our vehicles and go to dinner at Hong Kong Buffet.
