Driving to Bear Mountain Wind Park Near Dawson Creek, British Columbia

The sky is hazy with
smoke from wildfires.

The yellowish plants
are canola.

We turn onto a dirt road
as we head up the
mountain.

Suddenly, there's a mother
Deer with her Fawns.

The Fawns are confused...
Mom's in the woods on the
left side of the road.

One Fawn follows Mom.  One Fawn runs into the woods on the right side of the road.

The Fawn that followed Mom
investigates the road.

It gets braver & walks into
the middle of the road.

And then, it walks towards
the Jeep.

Then, it turns & runs for the
woods on the right side
of the road.

Mom's going to be spending time rounding up the kids...

wind park.

The windmills tower
above the trees.

The tip of each blade
is curved.

The access to the windmill
is up this set of stairs.

The windmills stretch across
the crest of the mountain.

Another Deer siting....

This has been a fun drive.
