The Goonies Filming Locations in Astoria, Oregon

Eric drove to 368 38th Street so we could see The Goonies House.  It's on a dead end street, and we're in luck!

The sign welcomes

Goonies on foot.

We walk up the hill to
the Walsh house,
where everything started.

The Oregon Film Museum,

 once the old County Jail at

732 Duane Street is where

the Fratellis were held

until they escaped.

Visiting former movie locations is a fun way to visit Astoria.

The Flavel House Museum.
at 441 8th Street is
where Mr.Walsh worked.






Director Richard Donner and actor Sean Astin are stoking rumors of the filming of a sequel to The Goonies. I'm waiting for more news on Goonies 2.
