Our Drive West to Slab City, Near Niland, California








We drive west through
rocky terrain.







And pass a Boarder





This terraced area is
a mystery to me.

Eric thinks it's a
decommissioned landfill.












Canals abut fields of
growing crops.

to harvest the crop.

Slab City is just up
the road from Niland.

















We are at 93.798 feet
below sea level.









We pass by Salvation Mountain.

We will return for a closer look.
