Finding a Spot to Park in Slab City

Here we are!

Slab City is located at the former

Camp Dunlap Marine Training Base.

The buildings were removed
& concrete slabs remain.

Camping is free here. 

Some people who live here
year round have businesses.

We are camping in the

Slab Lows (Loners on

Wheels) Area.

We asked the neighbors about where we should camp & were told anywhere is fine.
