The Municipal Rose Garden in Tyler, Texas

The Tyler Municipal Rose Garden
is the largest municipal rose
garden in the country.

Tyler, Texas is at the heart of the
 commercial rose industry.

One section has heritage roses.

The Idea Garden

Master Gardeners test & display
under-used varieties that have
potential for East Texas landscapes.

This fountain is from
the Patterson home.

The arched wall is the original
entrance to the Rose Garden

Workmen are preparing the space
next week's annual Rose Festival
& Parade.

Eric and I enjoyed our visit to the Rose Garden.  After a visit to the adjoining building, and we can return to Mineola.
