Urban Meadows in Detroit, Michigan

A Wall Street Journal article documented Detroit's efforts to demolish 10,000 abandoned homes.  How does the landscape of a city change after 10,000 homes have been removed?

Meadows grow
where houses
once stood.

Power lines go, where?

This is beautiful, but
out of place.

Just tow blocks away
there are occupied homes.

I'm curious to see how Detroit continues to evolve.  Last June, Detroit got approval for more funding to demolish another 4,000 abandoned houses.  The landscape will continue to change.
