The Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota

Mall of America is located
in Bloomington, Minnesota.

We passed road construction signs on our way to the mall.  Oh, this is interesting...

We are circling the mall without
 directions for bus parking.

An employee on a golf cart offered
to direct us and then said he
couldn't because we are so long....
55 feet, including the Jeep.

I got on my computer, pulled up
Mall of America in Google Maps,
Satellite View.

There are large parking lots north of the
mall just off Lindau Lane.  I dropped a
Latitude, Longitude marker, read the
numbers to Eric, who was inputting
them into the GPS.

The motorhome is parked &
we are now on our way
into The Mall of America.

Olivia walked up to us while we
were studying our maps of the mall.

We peppered her with questions.

She is an Intern and has a few questions to ask us, easy ones.  Olivia gave us tickets for a free ride in Nickelodeon Universe, located at the center of the mall.  She recommends the Ferris Wheel, as we will see the rest of the area easily from the top of this ride.

This amusement park is
jam packed with rides.

It's fun to watch kids bouncing
around, choosing the next ride.

Mall of America is a destination...
There are over 520 stores here employing 11,000 people, 13,000 during busy seasons.
The walking distance of one level is .57 miles.
35 to 40 million people visit this mall a year.
Forty percent of the visitors are tourists.
There are 25 rides and attractions in Nickelodeon Universe.
Over 5,000 weddings have been performed at Mall of America.

With so many stores to blog about, I'd have a shorter post if I included pictures of stores I'm familiar with, but I won't.   Next up:  Just a few  Mall of America stores.
