A Tour of Fort Henry in Kingston, Ontario

The first Fort Henry was built during the War of 1812 to protect nearby British shipyards.






The present fort was built between
1832 & 1837 to protect the recently
completed Rideau Canal.

We were surprised to learn that
Ukrainians were interred here
during World War I.










Vicker's Guns were
used during World War I.
Fort Henry has much to offer.  When you're in Kingston, make some time to visit this important historic site.
