Calhoun's on the Tennessee River in Knoxville, Tennessee

Calhoun's sits on the
Tennessee River.

As we are on foot, we have to
cross the pedestrian bridge &
walk down the equivalent of a
four story tower to get to lunch.

This is the view from the
pedestrian bridge...

A pedestrian walkway

It's 2:30 pm.
I think we'll have the
 place to ourselves.

They brag about their ribs.

Calhoun's has a fun
atmosphere.

The view from our table.
Workmen are in the cage
being lifted by the crane.

A work barge sits at the
base of the bridge under
construction.

A paddle boat is docked
nearby.

Eric got a mug
of beer.

He chose the ribs & pork
plate with broccoli &
Tennessee Corn Puddin.'

I chose the pork BBQ with
coleslaw & broccoli.

Lunch was great!  Calhoun's should brag about their ribs.  Our waitress made sure we had extra napkins and brought wet wipes.  The wipes were necessary.  The ribs were finger licking good and messy.
