Walking Around Historic Savannah, The Squares

It's time to check out the squares.  Each square is located in the center of a ward.  Twenty-two of the original twenty-four wards remain.  Each green space is different.

This statue of John Wesley,
the founder of Methodism
graces Reynolds Square.

This fountain is the focal point

The statue of Sergeant William Jasper
is in Madison Square.

in Orleans Square is spouting
green water for St. Patrick's Day.

Eric and I love these small green spaces in Savannah.  It's just a few minutes walk
from one to another, keeping us walking all afternoon long.
