Schenectady Greenmarket at Proctors Theater in Schenectady, NY

Thanks Josephine, of Josephine's Whole Grain Baking, for posting your bread menu for today's Schenectady Greenmarket at Proctors Theater on Facebook last night.   Eric and Josephine became friends while Eric was working for New York State Department of Transportation in downtown Schenectady, NY.  He bought breads and other yummies at the Schenectady Farmers' Market at Schenectady City Hall on Thursdays.  We missed our favorite breads, muffins, cookies and croutons while traveling.

Eric got more yummy bakery treats... Irish Raisin Bread, a Blueberry Muffin, a Pumpkin Cranberry Muffin and two Chickadee Cookies.

Whoever said, "It's a small world," said it all.  I turned from the baked goods at Josephine's Whole Grain Baking and met my former coworker, Lynn, from Bethlehem Public Library.  Her husband, Dusty was playing with Roots of Change at the Greenmarket today.

There was lots of good eats!

The lower level had lots of vegetables.  There were also cheese vendors; I saw brown eggs being sold.  A man was selling meats.  Adair Vineyards and Altamont Vineyard and Winery were doing tastings and selling their best wines.  Hats, jewelry and more were available for shoppers.

Purchases included: Yummies from Josephine's Whole Grain Baking,
Cauliflower, Broccoli, Horseradish Dill &
Sundried Tomato-Basil Spreads from Zorbas Natural Food.

This was our first time at Schenectady Greenmarket on a Sunday.  Eric and I had a great time and were happy to see the crowds of shoppers.
