Visiting Elvis Presley's Graceland & The Meditation Garden in Memphis, Tennessee

Visitors are allowed to visit the grounds of Graceland in Memphis and spend time in the Meditation Garden where Elvis and members of his family are buried between 7:30 am and 8:30 am.   Walk-ins (welcomed without paying a fee) are asked to leave before the first Tour of the Day starts.

Visitors are encouraged to
write on the stone walls
bordering Graceland.

The Elvis Aaron Presley
Historical Marker is
covered in graffiti.

The Graceland Gates are decorated
 with silhouettes of Elvis playing
the Guitar & Musical Notes.

The front of the Mansion is
shaded in the early
 morning light.

This beautiful wreath adorns the gates that lead to the fountains in the Garden.

Vernon Presley was allowed to move the graves of Elvis & his mother, Gladys, from Forest Hill Cemetery to Graceland in  October 1977.

The Garden is also the resting place of Elvis' father, Vernon, paternal grandmother Minnie Mae, daughter, Lisa Marie, and grandson Benjamin Keough.  A small marker was added to memorialize Elvis' Stillborn twin brother Jessie.

This is the monument for
Gladys' grave at Forest
Hill Cemetery.
