An Afternoon in Carrizozo, New Mexico

US Route 54 bypasses the Town of Carrizozo.  I'm glad that Eric and I left the highway to explore the community.

The town was chosen for
a depot by the El Paso &
1899.






Carrizozo is the County Seat for Lincoln County.

recreated an Old West
town with hitching

I'm glad Eric and I decided to walk around Carrizozo.  It's an interesting, historic, artistic town.
