The Show & Shine Car Show in Yuma, Arizona

Eric and I went to the Third Annual Show and Shine in Yuma, Arizona.  The parking lots adjacent to Texas Roadhouse and Golden Corral are filled with vehicles to admire.

I love the sunny 1929 Ford

It's beautiful!

Some owners bring plaques with information on the car or truck they are showing.   Some don't provide information about the year, make and model of their vehicle.

Eric loves this customized
with a sunroof,

We admire the etched details.

I was very happy to see a 1961

It's a "Woody."

Vintage Pedal Cars have
customized paint jobs.

This late 1940s Chevrolet Two Door
Coupe has Venetian blinds in the
rear window.

There a lot of Chevrolet Impalas at this Car Show.

Some cars sit with two wheels
off the ground...

Their owners show off the
Suspension Modifications.

I admire the sleek lines on this

The owner of this Chevrolet
Impala Convertible chose
to show its roof being
retracted.

Felix the Cat is holding a black
ball with the number 59 on it.

This is a 1959 Chevrolet

Show and Shine has bicycles on display...

Each one is a work of art.

This bike has a spare tire.

This bike's frame is elegant.
The owners put a lot into the cars, trucks and bkes they display here.  Many of the vehicles have been customized.  And, there's a lot of metal flake paint here.

Eric and I appreciate the mechanical craftsmanship and artistry of every vehicle at the Third Annual Show and Shine in Yuma.

A Light Lunch @ Takos & Beer in Yuma, Arizona

Eric and I love our celebratory dinners at Chef Eddy's Julieanna's Steak and Seafood Restaurant.

Today we are having lunch
at Takos & Beer, his other
Yuma Restaurant.

The Bar

I like the keg
display cases.

Live Your Wave

Takos & Beer Tee Shirts

There's indoor seating
& patio seating here.

The El Jimador Tequila
Skull has a gold tooth.

The walls are decorated with
old Beer Taps.

Our server, Alize, told Eric and me that some diners try to order Beers based on the Beer Tap displays, and are directed to the restaurant's QR Code for their Beer selections.

(Octopus) Taco & Chicken

(Short Rib) Taco & Machaca
(Shredded Beef) Taco.

A close-up of Eric's Taco

It's delicious!

His Chicken Tortilla Soup is a
 beautifully balanced creation.

My Short Rib Taco is sooo
tender.

The Shredded Beef Taco is
delightful!

The Gourmet Tacos and Chicken Tortilla Soup were amazing!  Eric and I look forward to a return visit to explore more of Takos and Beer's creative Mexican menu.
