Riverwalk in Downtown Chicago, Illinois

Riverwalk is the place to
visit in Chicago.

The River welcomes everyone.

Jean Baptiste Du Sable was
Chicago's first citizen.

He established a farm &
Trading Post in the 1770s.

Large boats provide tours
Architecture Tours.

Boats are docked everywhere
along the shoreline.

Boats are docked beneath
The Marina.

I think this bridge is getting
maintenance.

There's lots of seating available
for residents & tourists.

I love taking pictures of downtown
Chicago's skyscrapers.

was built in 1914.

features are incorporated into
this building.

Kayakers enjoy the River.

Adirondack Chairs invite
passersby to "set a spell."

Chicago was wise to develop plans for its Riverwalk.  Great views and lots of public access makes this Riverfront a great place for locals to hang out and for visitors to explore.
