Driving East to Rayville, Louisiana






Eric & I continue east on









East Texas' gently rolling terrain

Louisiana was discovered by the French in 1682.   The first permanent settlement was at Fort St. Jean Baptiste (Natchitoches) in 1715.  The state proudly maintains its French culture.

Eric & I detour to Gibsland to visit The Bonnie & Clyde Museum & drive country roads to the site where they were ambushed on May 23, 1934..




We return to Interstate 20 East.

I continue east on Interstate 20
toward Vicksburg.

We are spending the night in
the Walmart parking lot in
Rayville.






We spend another night
with the tractor-trailers
