The Petersen Rock Garden in Redmond, Oregon

Rasmus Petersen farmed in
Redmond & collected rocks,
lots of rocks.

In 1935 he started building
rock gardens.

Decorative basins
 & walls

Mr. Petersen built houses
& churches.

Mr. Petersen started crafting
elaborate buildings.

These miniatures remind me of the Ave Maria Grotto in Cullman, Alabama.

God Bless America

The Statue of Liberty

Peacocks roam the property.

Rockwall ponds were built
to show off Mr. Peterson's
bridges to his creations.

Mr. Petersen spent 17
years making miniatures
in stone.

He died in 1952.

The grounds have been neglected for years and Mr. Petersen's well-built sculptures are intact.
