Hammer & Stitch Brewing Co. in Northwestern Portland, Oregon

is just two blocks away.

An Origami Elephant
sits on the Counter
next to the Tip Jar.

The Brewing Vats are near
the Bar.

Eric & I sit at a table beneath
this light fixture that reminds

Maria and the Von Trapp children used controllers like the one overhead in their Puppet Show in The Sound of Music.

Back Row, right to left: The Lager,
The IPA, & The Weizen

Front Row, right to left: Currant
Events, Optical Illusion &
The Porter

Eric and I discuss the characteristics of each beer.  The IPA, though balanced, is not our favorite.  The Lager represents its style well, as does The Weizen.  Currant Events is a light, refreshing beer.  The Porter Optical Illusion has a nice blend of malt with some hops.  The Porter is smooth with rich chocolate flavor.

A couple sits beneath a
canopy on the deck.

The Garage Door allows easy access to the outdoor seating.

Eric and I decided to take a beer to go...

This can was filled
fresh from the tap.

We will enjoy this can
of Currant Events
down the road...
