Strolling Main Street on Mackinac Island




Some people ride around Mackinac Island by horse-drawn carriage.







Some people ride bikes...







... while others walk.













Most of the buildings here were built in the late 1800s & the early 1900s.












Downtown Main Street has many shops and restaurants.



















Mackinac Island is open for visitors from April to October.

It's nice to be here early in the day before the crowds build.

He opened a mission on the island in 1671.  Sainte Anne Catholic Church serves Catholic residents and visitors.
