Relocating to Suni Sands in Yuma, Arizona

Today's drive is a short one...  Twelve miles southwest to Suni Sands RV Resort.  Eric and I use our campground memberships to keep our nightly camping fees as low this winter.

... Suni Sands RV Resort.

We are using our Thousand Trails
Collection membership here.

The Office, Clubhouse.
& Swimming Pool

Laundry Facilities &
Shuffleboard Courts
are at the far end of
the building.

Suni Sands RV Resort is across the road from Yuma International Airport and the Marine Corps Air Station.  We hear planes and military jets taking off and landing during the workweek.  Weekends are quiet.

The Driving Range is very
space-efficient.

The Putting Green &
Gathering Space

This older RV Park is a mix
of trailers, old Park Models
& newer wood constructed
Homes.

There's plenty of empty spaces here.

This Over 55 RV Park awaits the influx of annual Snowbirds.  I don't know how many Americans in Northern States are skipping travel to Southern States during the Pandemic.
I will be counting empty campsites and noting the License Plates of newcomers.

I have read that some Canadians are flying to northern US Cities and having their cars and RVs shipped south for the Winter Season.  I'll also be looking for cars and RVs with Canadian License Plates as the Winter Season progresses.

Fellow RVers are decorating
for Christmas.

This is the most elaborately
decorated home so far...

This diverse display includes a Skeleton &
a Conch Republic Flag.

Suni Sands RV Resort is located
next to Walmart & provides
convenient access for RVers.

Eric & I are parked in the
"Transient Section."

We have 50 amp electric
service with good voltage,
water & sewer hookups.
I'll get to the Christmas decorations in a few weeks.  Right now I'm savoring the after Thanksgiving glow...
