Christmas Morning: Touring Yuma's Murals

 Yuma has commissioned murals and the City is very proud of them.  At 10:00 am Eric and I went looking for them.  






There's no traffic at this time of day.
Everyone is home opening presents.





The first mural is on the







This mural's theme is Environmental Awareness.











The next mural is Flor del Desierto (Desert Flower).  The artist wants people to examine it closely.






Del Sol Market hosts this
mermaid gliding on a 
sea of desert sand.









Clad in desert flowers, she
looks intently at a
 baby Jaguar.














Her lower body is covered
in flowers.  

A small desert bird sits 
among the flowers, on
the right.









Her tail is made of Cacti
with a red desert bird
perched among them.
