An Afternoon in Fort Worth, Texas

Our first glimpse of Fort Worth.

has curbside service.

The Fort Worth Street Signs
have Long Horn Cattle logos.

Eric and I are visiting two outdoor attractions today.

Borofsky is located at the western
entrance to downtown.

The glass-sided skyscraper
reminds me of buildings in

our stroll in

The Water Gardens were designed by architect Philip Johnson.  The gardens are an oasis of quiet in downtown Fort Worth.  They have been used for filming scenes in the original Logan's Run movie and the 1980 TV film Lathe of Heaven.

The Active Water Pool...

... is currently inactive.

Steps lead down to the
Aerated Water Pool

A man flies his drone nearby,
at the top center of the photo.

I walk along an elevated
water trough.

The pool below the

Water gently flows down

pool.

is just steps away from the
 Gardens.

Eric examines the building and notes that the windows follow the same lines as the brickwork.

I examine the cantilevered
sections of a nearby
skyscraper.

Eric and I return to our car and head southwest to Bay Landing RV Campground in Bridgeport.  We expect to return to Fort Worth in a few years when there are more tourism options available.
