Our Mid Atlantic celebratory lunch has ended.  Eric and I pull in the slides in our motorhome and hit the road...

We pass Delaware Technical Community College on our way out of Dover.

We watch out for Ducks.

I am happy to make way

for Ducklings...

After a few turns, we are in

Delaware's farm country.

Delaware Route 44 West is

an Evacuation Route.

We enter Maryland & ..

... drive through Maryland's

farm country.

I drive "the water route" over

the Chesapeake Bay.

Eric's right foot makes its way

into his shot of the

Chesapeake Bay Bridge.

We continue south on 

Interstates 95/495.

Virginia is for Lovers

Northern Virginia is always

under constructions.

Suddenly, traffic slows...

There's been an accident in 

the left lane.

Eric is taking Exit 130 A

to Virginia Route 3 &

Fredericksburg.

We'll spend the night in the

Walmart parking lot before

continuing south tomorrow.

Including the traffic slowdown, Eric and I arrived here in Fredericksburg three hours after leaving Dover.
