Shopping @ Helena's Specialty Foods Pierogies

Eric and I are Polish.  Don't let the last name of LaJuene fool you.  Eric's mom Jerry is 100 percent Polish.  I am a mere 50 percent Polish.  In years past my kitchen was coated with flour as I made Pierogy shells, stuffed and crimped their edges, and boiled them.

All of this prep work is necessary to create "Polish Pockets" of joy.
