Thousand Trails Scotrun RV Resort in Scotrun, Pennsylvania

After a couple of weeks on the
road, I look forward to beating
back some the dust from the
road at Thousand Trails
Scotrun RV Resort.

The Office is open by
appointment only.

There's a delay in getting a campsite.  Our Thousand Trails Profile includes information on the length of our motorhome, 40 feet, but the campsite we've been assigned is too short.  A staffer went to find another spot for us, and it's also too short.   Eric was asked if our 2004 Vectra's length had been measured.  It has been, and it's 40 feet long.

The Manager comes out of the Office to see what's going on and I tell her that two campsites selected for us are too short.  If there are no campsites long enough for our motorhome, we can cancel our reservation and continue our drive north.  I really don't want to do this, but there are campgrounds set up for shorter RVs and if we can't be accommodated, our plans can change.

The third search for a 40 foot plus campsite was successful.

We pass the Resort Map on
our way to a campsite.

This park is heavily wooded.

Eric doesn't expect to
get satellite reception
for our TV.

We're in luck!

Our DirecTV Dish is
picking up satellites.

The trees are just starting to leaf out.  In a week there will be no satellite reception here.

Thousand Trails Scotrun
RV Resort has cabins.

This Camping Trailer is
waiting to be opened
up for the summer.

The Lake

The far end has some
facilities to check out.

Kayaks wait for paddlers.

Shuffleboard Courts
This RV Resort is set up for active families.  I don't know if Covid 19 Restrictions will curtail family fun this summer.
