The Stations of the Cross

Eric and I follow the Stations through the cemetery.
A bench has been placed
graveside for visitors.
The Stations of the Cross are
a meditative account of the
day Jesus was crucified.
Station Five:
Simon of Cyrene helps
Jesus carry the Cross.
This monument reminds me of
Decorative blocks mark
the borders of this grave.
There's no one to collect
the toll....
It's time to Limbo....
This simple marker is
for a World War II
Veteran.
This is a lovely walk.
Station Eleven:
Jesus is nailed
to the Cross.
How family & friends remember
their loved one
Station Fourteen stands
next to the remnants of
a wagon.
Jesus is placed in the
tomb.
Eric and I enjoyed our walk through the cemetery as we walked the Stations of the Cross.
