Eric & I Drive Southwest to Springfield, Illinois

Eric & I leave the RV/MH
Hall of Fame & Museum's
parking lot to start
today's drive.

We will continue today's
drive....

... on Interstate 90 West,
toward Chicago.

One of many farms we
pass during our drive.

Welcome to Illinois

A Firetruck is in the Westbound
Lane & cars are blocking
traffic.

Our Exit is 126 A for

A huge US Flag unfurls
in light winds.

This Wrecker moves to the left
shoulder of the highway as it
makes its way to its next call.

High Voltage Transmission
Towers loom over the
highway.

A backhoe works at one end of
 newly constructed bridge.

Corn waits to be harvested.

This picture is deceptive.

The Wind Turbines are pretty
far away from the tree in the
foreground that appears
to dwarf them.

An old Windmill & decrepit
Barn are all that's left of this
roadside farm.

We stop for Diesel at a Freedom

$2.87 per gallon is a bargain.

Eric takes a shot of me driving
with the Bloomington Normal
water tower in the distance.

We drive past the exit for
Elkhart, Illinois.

Here's our exit, 96B to
South Grand Avenue.

Eric & I have an appointment at
Freightliner Service Center to
 investigate a Hydraulic Fluid leak.
