Eric & I wait in line to
leave Trinity Site.
We pass through the Stallion Range Center Gate and find....
Lots of vehicles waiting to enter
White Sands Missile Base.
The line goes on & on....
... for about a mile
Protesters stand at the corner.
They seek compensation for
cancers contracted in this
downwind of Trinity Site.
Eric continues on
Our drive brings us to
Interstate 25 North.
US Route 60 West has
beautiful views.
Our first sighting of the
A few miles later we see the
sign for the Array.
Eric & I are still 4 miles away
from the Visitors Center.
The Antenna Dishes grow
larger as we approach.
Finally, the on-site sign for
The Very Large Array.
The Array hosts tours on the first and third Saturdays of the month. Let's park and learn about this national center for Astronomy Research.
